We are committed to respecting your privacy and to complying with data protection laws. If you book a tour with us we will collect information such as
Your name and surname
Address (if we have to send you an invoice)
We require this information to provide the services you have requested from us.
We will usually pass on your contact telephone number to the guide who is taking your tour. This is so that he/she can contact you in the event of any last minute changes or problems. In some cases we may give your email address to the guide so that you can correspond direct about the tour content.
We will normally retain emails containing your telephone number for several years, as we are obliged to keep records by the tax authorities for this length of time. If you would like us to delete your telephone number please let us know.
We will not pass on your contact details to any third parties. Nor will we contact you as part of an email or telephone marketing exercise, principally because we do not carry out email or telephone marketing exercises.
We will email you after the tour to seek your feedback, but we will not contact you after that.
This policy is effective from 1 January 2019.
Under General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you think there is a problem in the way your data is being handled.
